Rabbi Shlomo Perlstein
Raising a beautiful family in Eretz Yisroel for over twenty years, Rav Shlomo Perlstein made the decision to return to America to give over the wealth of knowledge and understanding in all areas of Torah that he has acquired. With Hashems help, the Summit Park Shul had the zechus to hire Rav Perlstein as our Rav. While in Eretz Yisroel, Rav Perlstein studied in the most prominent yeshivos, receiving Semicha from numerous gedolim in all areas of Halacha. Rav Perlstein was a dayan in the Beis Din of Rav Nissim Karelitz, while active in many yeshivos and Kollelim throughout Eretz Yisroel. Currently Rav Perlstein is an active Dayan in the Beis Din Of America, Rosh Kollel in A Choshen Mishpat Kollel, Maggid Shuir, and Halacha Rebbe in A girls high school.
As the Rav of the Summit Park Shul, Rav Perlstein is set out to give over to our young community a meaning in life, an understanding of Halacha and the reasons behind them, Hadracha to the community and families, and a listening ear for any assistance we may need. Rebetzin Perlstein has a close relationship with all of the women in the community, she treasures the relationships with the kids as a mother to a child. The women of the community have someone to speak with, learn from, and know that they have someone to confide with in any scenario that comes their way. We wish the Rav and Rebetzin much Hatzlacha in New Hempstead, and we look forward to many years of growth and Simchos together.
